Description:
8th Grade Math is a foundational math class for high school math. Students will expand their knowledge at a fast pace and must complete 7 sections each week to be eligible to start Algebra I the following year.
This online, interactive class is a blended learning program in partnership with the award-winning CTC Math program (which is included in the price of the class). CTC is a computer-based math program that logically and sequentially leads the students through the challenge and discovery of important math concepts. Students will have access to videos and worksheets throughout the week as assigned by their teacher. The class will meet once per week during which time students will be able to ask questions, collaborate with other classmates, and work problems together with the teacher as the teacher dives deeper into content and previews the next week’s lessons. The teacher is also available to answer parent questions and to help with difficult concepts.
