What happens here follows your student straight into high school. This live online pre-algebra class for 8th grade is built as an on-ramp, not a hurdle: a small Zoom class that meets every week, blended with the award-winning CTC Math program for structured practice between sessions.
Get this year right and Algebra 1 feels like the next step. Get it shaky and Algebra feels like a wall.
The teaching here is deliberately unhurried. Confusion gets caught the week it shows up and explained a different way, out loud, with other students in the room asking the same question. It is not a video course and not a workbook at the kitchen table.
By May students have the foundational skills and, just as important, the nerve to walk into Algebra 1 prepared instead of anxious.
