Algebra I
Algebra I builds a strong foundation for high school math, helping students master linear, exponential, and quadratic relationships while applying algebra to real-world problem-solving.
This online, interactive class follows a blended learning model in partnership with CTC Math, an award-winning, computer-based program that guides students logically and sequentially through key mathematical concepts. Each week, students complete instructional videos and interactive, self-grading questions. The questions adjust based on student responses, helping guide each learner toward mastery of the concepts.
More than just an online program, weekly live classes led by an experienced teacher give students the opportunity to engage in guided instruction, ask questions in real time, and deepen their understanding of key concepts. Each class combines targeted review of challenging material, collaborative problem-solving, and previews of upcoming lessons, creating a structured, interactive environment that keeps students accountable and engaged.
Students also benefit from working alongside peers in a supportive Algebra I community, receiving encouragement and building camaraderie as they learn together. With ongoing teacher support available throughout the week, students receive timely help and guidance to overcome challenges and maintain steady progress with confidence.
As a foundational high school math course, Algebra I equips students with essential skills for future success in mathematics and academics. The CTC Math program is included in the cost of the class.
