Description
Geometry is where a lot of students discover that math is an argument, not a recipe.
This live online geometry class for high school is built to get them through that discovery with their confidence intact. Students extend what they learned in Algebra 1 into quadratics, radicals, rational functions, congruence, similarity, trigonometric functions, and probability.
Class time is not a lecture: the group works problems together, talks through concepts, and lays foundations before the next unit arrives. Along the way there are math games, escape rooms, and simulations that make students use a theorem instead of memorizing it.
The course is a blended program built on the award-winning CTC Math curriculum, which is included in the price of the class. Students have access to the videos and worksheets all week, then come to the live session with their teacher to get unstuck, ask what they could not ask a video, and work the hard problems out loud.
It is a foundational high school math course, and it sets up every math and science course that follows.
