Course Description:
In this engaging and faith-centered course, students will learn how to manage stress, anxiety, and toxic thinking by exploring the connection between brain science and biblical wisdom. Using Dr. Caroline Leaf’s Cleaning Up Your Mental Mess as the primary text, students will practice the 5-step “Neurocycle” method to reshape unhealthy thought patterns and strengthen emotional resilience.
Through weekly readings, video/podcast reflections, journaling, and Scripture integration, students will discover how renewing the mind leads to lasting mental wellness. The course emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and spiritual development without formal quizzes or tests.

Semester Completion Policy
All self-paced courses must be completed within the semester in which the student is enrolled. While students may work through the material at their own pace, access does not extend beyond the active semester. This policy helps students stay on track, maintain academic momentum, and ensures coursework aligns properly with transcript and credit requirements. We encourage families to plan ahead and schedule consistent time each week for successful completion.
