Description
Animal Drawing and Watercolor is a beginner’s course for students with artistic interests with a special emphasis on animals. This 15 week 1 semester class focuses on students with less experience with drawing and watercolor painting. Students will learn these concepts and skills. This is a high school level course recommended for middle school and high school-aged students. Middle school or Junior High Students who want to be challenged may also join this high school level class.
This course fosters art as both a physical skill set and communicative soft skill. Art is expressive in ways that words sometimes fail to be. Learning how to understand another person through the art they produce and to express moods, emotions, and experiences through art is a lifelong therapeutic, social, and self-care skill that will benefit a student throughout their lifetime.
