True North Academy’s Core 4 Junior High/Middle School Program transitions students from elementary education to the more demanding expectations of high school.
This comprehensive program emphasizes developing critical thinking and academic skills across core subjects—Math, Science, History, and Language Arts—ensuring that students are well-prepared for advanced studies.Parents choose the courses and advising is available to help if a parent is unsure.
The Performance Series Test, which provides valuable insights into each student’s academic strengths and areas for improvement, complements the curriculum.
Parents collaborate with an advisor to review the student’s academic history and, if desired, test results, enabling the advisor to recommend optimal class placements that challenge and support the student’s learning journey. This program builds necessary high school and beyond skills while cultivating a deeper understanding of academic concepts.
The Core 4 Middle School / Junior High Program includes:
