Core 4 High School Program
The Core 4 High School Program at True North Academy is a rigorous and comprehensive educational pathway designed to prepare students for college, careers, and life beyond the classroom.
The curriculum is anchored in essential subjects—Math, Science, History, and Language Arts—with an emphasis on developing advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. (Parent chooses classes. We have advising including for parents who would like assistance in choosing classes.)
The Performance Series Test is utilized to monitor student progress and inform instructional strategies, ensuring that each learner is both challenged and supported.
Advisors work closely with parents and students to review previous academic performance and, upon request, test results, making informed recommendations for class placements that align with the student’s aspirations and academic goals. This program is committed to fostering a deep understanding of complex subjects, encouraging intellectual curiosity, and equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in higher education and beyond.
