The Biomedical & Health Sciences Heading gives that calling a strong academic foundation for nursing, pre-med, physical therapy, nutrition, medical technology and the allied health professions. Will this guarantee admission to a nursing or pre-med program?
No high school program can promise that. This Heading builds the coursework, experience and habits those programs look for, and your advisor helps your student plan for the requirements of the programs they're considering.
Can my student combine this with another Heading?
Yes. Headings can overlap. A student interested in running a clinic or a nutrition practice might add Entrepreneurship.
Are labs included?
Yes. Our live science classes include hands-on labs, and each course lists the supplies your student will need.
