About Anna
Anna Knaub is a dedicated stay-at-home mom with a servant’s heart. When she is not chasing her two tiny humans and two giant dogs, she loves gardening, baking, crafting, and watching movies with her husband, Ethan. They live in Lancaster, PA — nestled amid the land of chocolate and cows.
Known for a teaching philosophy built around four core, formal assignments — assessment that goes beyond a test — Anna keeps students challenged with creative, lively, thought-provoking work. Her students catch her enthusiasm and passion for literature, and her love of weaving in history.
Experience & Credentials
Anna graduated from the University of Valley Forge with a degree in Secondary English Education, concentrating in Medieval and Renaissance Literature. She is a licensed Pennsylvania teacher and homeschool evaluator with over 20 years of teaching and childcare experience — from AP and Honors to College Prep, Life Skills, and coaching.
A yearly speaker at the Rooted in Faith Homeschool Conference and a speaker and panelist with the Made2Homeschool Brave Conference, Anna has taught with True North since 2021.

What Students & Families Say
I would definitely recommend Dystopian Lit & Comp — it was interesting and engaging, and the classroom became a safe place to ask questions and cultivate a real love of literature. I left feeling fulfilled, with a community I will keep in touch with, a complete dystopian novel I plan to publish, and a rekindled love for reading.
I decided about a week in that if someone does not like Shakespeare, they just did not have a good enough teacher. You explained things in ways that made it so much easier — I never left class confused or bored. I loved it all.
