Meet Angie

About Angie

Angie Ferrell lives in southwestern Ohio with her husband of 24 years, her youngest child, and several pets. An avid reader in constant pursuit of a new challenge, she fills her days with gardening, bicycling, quilting, photography, writing, and curriculum development.

After a long career in Human Services, she answered the call to become a home educator — schooling her own two children to graduation, founding a local homeschool support group, and creating a nonprofit classical co-op. She teaches each student as an individual, and it shows.

Experience & Credentials

Angie holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology and a master’s in Education focused on eLearning, curriculum design, and training-program development, and she is a licensed teacher. She has tutored high schoolers in the classics, and today she teaches High School American History, Research Writing, Literature & Composition, and Psychology at True North.
