Meet Monica

About Monica

Monica Quintanar teaches high-school Spanish, Levels I through IV, live and online — with the heart of a former missionary. She completed her studies in childcare and has 15 years of experience teaching and leading Children’s Ministry, and while serving as a missionary in Argentina she completed a course at the International Language Training Center (ILTC).

After several years as a missionary in Reynosa, Mexico, she recently returned to her hometown of Pachuca Hidalgo, where she continues to serve and teach — for True North Academy online and in person at Orale Spanish School. She is excited to share the beautiful Spanish language with students of every level.

Experience & Credentials

Monica also spent five years as a private tutor for a fellow missionary, and brings a warm, patient approach that makes Spanish approachable for beginners and rewarding for advanced students alike.
