This is a nice resource – it gives a brief, but clear overview of the 5 Common Topics & why we should use them. It also provides examples of how to apply the 5 Common Topics Math, Geography, and a random subject.
However, I only gave this 3 stars because I was disappointed with the bookmarks and the copyright policy. The bookmarks just listed the 5 Common Topics – no sample questions (ie, how x compares to y, etc). They looked good – but I could get something like this for free elsewhere online.
Also, the description states that this includes, “…Printable Math sheets to laminate for Math class, flyers to print and put in your notebooks or classroom areas, and printable bookmarks to use with co-ops, class-days or in your own home”. However, this was a bit misleading, as the copyright limits use to your own family. I wanted something to use for my once-a-week co-op class, but wouldn’t want all of my students to purchase this for the few pages I want to share with them.
Overall, nice resource, but because of the copyright, it doesn’t fit my needs as a co-op teacher at this time. It would have been helpful to have a Preview/Sample to see what I was purchasing, along with a copyright notice. Caveat emptor, I suppose. =)
