A Wrinkle in Time: Graphic Novel summer class is a high school level language arts class.
This Language Arts course is particularly well-suited for students who struggle with reading, especially with reading disabilities such as dyslexia, to improve reading comprehension and reading skills.
Students will read and analyze the graphic novel adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time and complete assignments as guided by the instructor. Students will engage in guided
Socratic-style class discussions about the novel and complete adapted reading projects.
The course is taught from a Christian worldview; however, literature often represents a variety of worldviews. This high school language arts class focuses on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. The goal of the program is to help students develop strategies for active reading, improve reading comprehension, strengthen reading skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading.
