Basic Electronics
Basic Electronics This course is designed to give students hands-on learning of basic electronic theory and develop skills to be successful in an electronic-driven world. Using a scientific approach to electronic theory, this course emphasizes the connection between the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while using a hands-on approach to learning.
Students will also engage in career development activities to develop communication, collaboration, and oral presentation skills.
Course will cover the following topics: Understand and demonstrate workplace and environmental safety. Demonstrate the use of tools, materials, and techniques. Demonstrate the use of test equipment. Understand and demonstrate how to test and select electronic components Understand and demonstrate induction Understand and demonstrate the electronic theory. Develop an understanding of design technology and develop skills for the workplace
